Senior Checklist Class of 2021

We hope you had a wonderful summer and welcome to senior year!  We are excited to work with you throughout the post-secondary planning process. While our process may look different than in years past, we are still here to support you.

Students: If you have an application deadline on or before November 1, you must contact your counselor by October 1 to ensure we have adequate time to meet and process your school records. 

 Senior Checklist - Class of 2021

Complete the following items BEFORE your senior meeting:

• Complete "Senior Data Sheet" - include lots of details

• Move colleges from "Following" to "Applying" in Scoir

• Indicate which application you will use, i.e. CommonApp

• Indicate whether you are applying Regular Decision, Early Action or Early Decision

• Upload Resume to Scoir or fill out Activities & Achievements Section in Scoir

 

• Set up a CommonApp account at www.commonapp.org and bring your username and password to our meeting.  

• Add Colleges to MY COLLEGES  

• Complete the EDUCATION SECTION

Class Rank Reporting:  None

GPA:  Weighted on a 4.0 scale

 

• Re-connect with the teacher(s) whom you asked for a letter of recommendation in the spring 

• Be sure everything is in place to secure your letter 

• Be sure to notify him/her of your EARLIEST application deadline

**Check your Scoir account to confirm that the teacher you asked in the spring has been assigned to write your letter of recommendation. If you received confirmation from the teacher, but you do not see their name is Scoir, please forward your counselor the confirmation email. If you have NOT requested a letter of recommendation from a teacher, please do so ASAP.
